(Advance Copy) Margantha - Blood Moon Sacrifice

Italian melodic black metal band Margantha will release their debut EP Blood Moon Sacrifice on June 27, 2025 via Rockshots Records. The four-track release runs 21 minutes and 24 seconds and follows a conceptual thread rooted in gothic horror and folklore. Opening with Blood Moon Sacrifice, the EP continues through Curse of the Full, Miriam and the Endless Night, and Wolves at the Door. Each track contributes to a dark narrative reportedly inspired by a legend passed down from vocalist Nocturnus I’s grandmother, centering on a werewolf haunting a remote hunting village.

Margantha’s sound blends sharp, melodic riffing with harsh vocals and driving rhythms, balancing chilling aggression with dark, immersive compositions. Their style fuses the raw edge of traditional black metal with a sense of structure and clarity, shaped by both Italian and Finnish influences. The band keeps their identities hidden to let the music and story speak for themselves. The 4-song EP is mixed and mastered by Andy La Rocque at Sonic Train Studio.

The first single, Blood Moon Sacrifice, was released on April 16, 2025, followed by Curse of the Full Moon on May 14, 2025. Both tracks are now available on all major streaming platforms.

The EP is focused, direct, and built around a clear vision. Blood Moon Sacrifice is a strong debut, highly recommended and a welcome new addition to the black metal scene.
